Identify the top YouTube Influencers in the UK for 2024 to determine which influencers would be most effective for marketing campaigns throughout the year.
A dashboard is needed to provide insights into the top UK YouTubers in 2024, including:
- Subscriber count
- Total views
- Total videos
- Engagement metrics
This dashboard will enable the marketing team to make informed decisions on collaborations with YouTubers.
As the Head of Marketing, I need a dashboard analyzing YouTube channel data in the UK to identify top-performing channels based on metrics such as subscriber base and average views. This will help make informed collaboration decisions, maximizing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Data on the top UK YouTubers in 2024 is required, including:
- Channel names
- Total subscribers
- Total views
- Total videos uploaded
The data is sourced from Kaggle (an Excel extract). Access the dataset here.

General approach:

Initial observations:
- The dataset contains at least 4 necessary columns.
- The first column includes channel IDs separated by '@'; channel names need to be extracted.
- Some cells and headers are in a different language; this needs to be addressed.
- Excess data is present; irrelevant columns need to be removed.
