Hi Liyang!
Thank you very much for answering my previous question. I am writing again to seek some clarification on the joint analysis mode of gsMap. In the paper, the joint analysis mode seems to have only been applied to biological replicates that are anatomically homogenous sections. I am wondering would you expect gsMap to work with anatomically heterogeneous sections as well? (i.e. a certain tissue type is only present/much more enriched in some sections but not all). Could I ask if you think the slice mean functionality would be robust to that?
Also could I ask is there an upper limit on the number of section for the joint analysis mode, or if it will just be depending on the total number of cells.
Many thanks!!
Elina
