- change double to LDouble_t anywhere it might affect rounding errors in

  the computation of the kinematics of the process;
- replace call to TPhoton::SetPol to TPhoton::SetPlanePolarization to
  make sure that the plane of polarization is being set correctly for
  off-axis photons;
- fix spelling of comments in places
