Any folders/files marked with (discontinued) are no longer being built/used but are left as part of the project development.
Any tutorials and ipynb files are written in Jupyter Notebooks.
These notebooks can easily typeset text, equations, interactive python code, html, and javascript.
Jupyter Notebooks is installed as part of the anaconda distribution. If you do not already have jupyter notebooks installed, visit http://jupyter.org/install.html
