we have created a table which is contains decimal(28,2) data type. when we select a query from this table, R application has been crashed immediatelly. We have converted our data type from decimal to float.

Thank you for reaching out. This is a known issue, and there is no easy solution for it. AFAIK there is no native data type in R for decimals, and R-decimal is a floating-point number and not a fixed-point decimal as the Clickhouse-decimal (e.g., https://stackoverflow.com/q/16960167). We want to avoid hacks, third-party types, and implicit conversion, and that's why it has not been done yet. If you are OK with the properties of a double-type, then cast it in SQL or create a view. There are some plans to use the arrow-datatypes (e.g., decimal128), but it would require a significant rewrite of our package.
