Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'm always frustrated when, due to a technical problem, metrics cannot be updated and I get no error message. I change the metric target, for instance, and nothing happens but Quality-time also does not show a toaster message with an error.

Describe the solution you'd like
A toaster message with an error that displays useful information.
