It appears that the redis image stanza in this yaml file probably needs to be updated to use a higher version of redis.

Since this is based upon the guestbook app (https://github.com/IBM/guestbook/blob/master/v1/redis-master-deployment.yaml), I updated it locally to use the same version (redis:3.2.9) and it worked without any problems.
