There might be a similar issue, but I'm too lazy to search among more than 400 problems :)

What happened?

After converting a file during inference with the following settings, noise appears at the beginning and end of the output file:

  • Volume Envelope: 0.3
  • Protect Voiceless Consonants: 0.33

These settings are provided by the Good for Anything preset.

What could be causing this issue, and is there a way to resolve it?

Steps to reproduce

...

Expected behavior

I would like to achieve a cleaner sound without such noise. In the original RVC repository, these settings produce a normal sound, but in yours, they do not.

how about just running inference without any extra options?

The default settings are fine, yes, but I'm used to these particular settings. I've always used them in RVC before without any issues 🤷‍♂

Applio uses the same logic as RVC.

Volume envelope boosts the noise parts, it seems.
