I'm not sure yet of how big this task will be, but I guess its good to start early and start testing / importin / converting the project so we are ready to Work with Godot 3.0 when its out.

How beneficial do you think converting to 3.0 would be?

I just think its good to check it out to simplify stuff as you did with the shooting in the fly home #42 .
Many people will upgrade and then the talk will be all about 3.0 and we must join that talk :)

I think it will be worth it, if not only for the reason you can use on_action_just_pressed / released :)

I just cloned the game and I think it's amazing!

However I do not think there is an immediate advantage to porting to 3.0, and instead we should better wait until the official project converter is stable enough.

I'm definitely looking forward to contributing to this project ;)
