How do I disable it for the react tags?

Do you want to disable it for React entirely, or only for React tags?

Only for the tags.

You can change which query is used in the configuration. For Javascript and TSX files there is the rainbow-parens query which only covers parentheses without tags. See :h rb-delimiters-setup and :h rb-delimiters-query. You could also write your own custom query if none of the included ones are to your liking.
