I reached out to someone about making HaxeFlixel stickers and (potentially) t-shirts. I wanted to get @gamedevsam's input on this. What do you think, and what kind of budget would we have for something like this. A few people have expressed interest in buying HF merch, so I thought I would look into it.

Hey @Geokureli, I'm absolutely open to allocating budget for promotional material, both digital or physical. We're currently holding $1254.93 on my PayPal account, and $891.29 on Patreon, for a total of $2146.22. It's not a lot to get good deals on volume pricing for Merch, so it may make more sense to find a partner that offers on-demand services for merchandising.

But based on the balance sheet, I'd be comfortable allocating the amount I have on PayPal (~$1200) for the merch. Can you work with that?

@Geokureli you have the green light. Send me any receipts for merch along with your PayPal email and I will reimburse them up to $1200. Would be extra cool if you encourage the recipients to post on social media with the merch. I'll send you my personal email via a Twitter message.

gonna bump this with some things in my brain

I think we can get a simple shopify storefront setup, which would feed orders to something like shipbob, which would take care of orders + fulfillment. Now that we have the site written in 11ty, I believe we can integrate it nicely with current site

for stock/inventory I believe the way it'd work is that we just order stock to whatever shipbob warehouse

As for particular merch items, I think we can do stickers super easy with stickermule or stickerapp (haven't seen quality of stickerapp, but stickermule is pretty good!) and then just ship those to shipbob warehouse for fulfillment when orders come in.

I will ping mr @HenryEYES since I know he's had experience with this stuff!
