Cache new columns to local storage (clear on download of file)

In the initial implementation (and to avoid any potential security concerns or the complication of users) new columns can be cached in local storage. It is limited to 5MB, but that should be enough for your regular day of data submission.

It is possible that this task should be replaced with a database or a more persistent storage solution.
