They currently suggest installing from master which is a couple releases behind.
I should either push the latest release to master if I can or update the docs to suggest pulling the latest tag. This would be a good time to document the release process (including the CHANGELOG and version string).
We should probably document installing from develop, which is the most common reason to install from source.
Is this still a reasonable way to install from source with pip? I would think there would be a simpler way by now.
