Executed make create and waited until I got the [ip-address]/productpage output. When browsing to the generated page, I see intermittent Ratings service is currently unavailable messages.
make validate appears to work, however the rating, when they appear do not appear to reflect the change in the database located on the VM.

We have had the same challenges getting this testing as well. We will take a look.

Seems like the make validate target is falsely confirming success. It may need to be changed.
