@icercel were you trying to audit about:blank or a different URL? Could you provide steps on how you reached this state?

Hello. I can provide the details, but i would kind of like to keep the url private, if possible? I think it was due to the `progressive web app` check, but that site i was testing actually forwards mobile user agents to a different subdomain, and when that happened, suddenly the url bar indeed turned into about:blank

Ah I see, is it reproducible every time for you or only occasionally occurs on that URL? And just to be clear the issue you're experiencing is that the page doesn't try to load at all, not that the page is so slow to load that it times out?

Hmmm, now that you mention it, i`ve tried again today and ... it worked both with `progressive web app` checked and without. I`m starting all the time on a www.<the_site>.com, and when i run the audit, the url changes immediately to about:blank; yesterday it just stayed there, but now it actually changes once more to m.<the_site>.com (due to that user-agent based redirection in the code). Well, all the audit results pertain to the "m.", instead of the "www.", but i guess that`s another issue, for another day. I`ll try again later on and see if i still get the "about:blank" with the timeout, and if not, i guess we can close this issue?

you can disable mobile emulation when using the cli. Devtools cannot sadly.
