Itm file format: "minimum level" offset 0x0024 - do not work? (BG2:ToB)

I don't see anyone discussing it on the forum, but considering I've also never seen any items relying on it, it seems everyone agreed it was a silly concept.

Silly concept? Silly to produce other people's arguments instead of answering the straight question.

Do you have the code? No. Can you read (dis)assembly? Then check the code, it's the only way to be sure. Simple testing can probably give a good enough answer too, depending on what you are after.

I asked this question after a simple testing. Offset 0x0024 only works until the specified level is reached. If the level of the character above the specified value - game crashes. In EE version is working correctly. Is there a fix for this problem? If not, you must specify it in Iesdp.

Sounds like a broken block, something only binary patching could fix. I doubt any of the existing ones did, since there are no users.

If you're familiar with html, please open up a pull request with a fix for the text. Something like appending "(crashes in bg2 once requirement met)".
