Describe the bug

When facing a monster spawner block (looking at it and having it selected with the selection box outline), items cannot be right-clicked. I found this out by testing a datapack with carrot on a stick right click detection method. Bows also can't be drawn, and potions can't be drunk. I haven't tested other items.

I have tested it on a world without mods or datapacks. There are a few custom mappings and an enforced texture pack.

To Reproduce

  • Let Server create new world
  • Join World with Bedrock Client (I'm on PC)
  • Place Monster Spawner down. (minecraft:spawner)
  • Get items: Food, Golden Apple, Potion, Splash Potion, Spyglass, Bow (other items with right-click ability)
  • Gamemode is irrelevant
  • Hover over spawner (black outline selection box should be around the spawner)
  • Try to use items with Right-Click (3rd option in Keyboard Layout Controls in Settings on Bedrock)

Expected behaviour

Items are usable as normal when not looking at a spawner.
