I've looked into this, I'll need to create a fork of MapWriter because it expects the data to be in the vanilla data structures everywhere, but it should be possible.

I'll post more information when i made some progress on it.

Just found that the game crashes when switching cave maps

I don't have time to fix it this week due to some IRL issues, but i'll continue working on this next week
