User Story

In order to meet our security compliance goals, datagovteam wants to minimize dependencies on 3rd party packages in our static sites.

Acceptance Criteria

[ACs should be clearly demoable/verifiable whenever possible. Try specifying them using BDD.]

  • GIVEN I have a static site on the list below
WHEN I build / run it
THEN I only want to include what package dependencies are necessary
AND to remove those which are outdated and unneeded.

Sites to be evaluated:

Background

[Any helpful contextual notes or links to artifacts/evidence, if needed]

Security Considerations (required)

[Any security concerns that might be implicated in the change. "None" is OK, just be explicit here!]

Sketch

  • Evaluate package dependencies in the above sites
  • Remove packages which are no longer needed
  • Update packages which can be updated
  • Fix any breaking changes as a result of the above, or create tickets to do so
