Feature request: BBR.Swift (or v3) #1061
Comments
I managed to get the changes from the bbr-v3-2024-02-22-01_ branch working on 6.12.8. If you want to try it out: I'm currently building the kernel and I'll try to run the benchmarks supplied with the Google's repo. |

OPs alt here: Swift would be heavily prefered. |
Maybe using BBR_PROBE_RTT = BBR Swift? |
OP here. @ItsRedly is my alt. |
Heya.
I'm currently looking for something better than TCP Cubic, and I found BBR.Swift. It's probably the best congestion control algorithm currently avaiable.
I was thinking that the BBR.Swift patches could be incorporated inside Linux-TKG, improving networking performance and allowing BBR to become the default congestion control algorithm.
Thanks,
Alex <3
PS: for my ultra-optimized gentoo system
