In the map view it always lists all cities I have been driving through, even if I only have spent minutes there. The point timestamps seem to be correct as well.
How exactly is that calculated?
For example yesterday I went to a place, stayed there for about an hour and went back home the same route.
dawarich logs this as one single trip. All cities I passed through were logged as visited.
Does it incorrectly relate all points in a city within the search timeframe even though I was only minutes in them and just passed through them hours apart?

Yes, currently list of cities isn't working as it supposed to work. It's a subject to improvement in the future. It basically lists all the cities you visited in the scope of your selected time frame
