Summary

Today we're pushing out a fix for the recent playback issues that's been going on for the past couple of days. Thank you very much for your patience and thanks to @LuanRT for solving this problem so quickly!

Changes

• Updated youtubei.js from 13.0.0 to 13.1.0 in Bump youtubei.js from 13.0.0 to 13.1.0 #6867
  • This fixes the recent playback issues when using the Local API
  • This also fixes an issue in videos where the English audio track would be automatically selected even when English wasn't the original audio track

Thank you very much. Kind request: the nightly snapshots are a lifesaver in such cases. OTOH, they're so well hidden, they are next to impossible to find. Please C&P a link where they can be found, in case of urgent fixes that need urgent testing.

I'd go even further and suggest nightly snapshots to be available on homebrew and other relevant package managers, if that is feasible.

Thank you for another fast update. You guys doing great work. I am testing now v0.23.2 appimage, imported subscriptions, history etc checked settings and watched some videos., did some search for new videos and channels and also search in history and all seems to work fine. My thumbs up, thank you again.

Thank you for your work! Freetube is probably the app I use the most in terms of time spent, maybe even more than the browser! So your work is really appreciated.

I suppose one extra day for Flathub availabiltiy, right? I will be using the .deb in the meantime.

Yes Flathub does take a little longer. Nothing we can do about this on our end.

Your GitHub Actions run failed, apparently your secrets.UPLOAD_ID didn't have the correct value.
Could you take another look at that?

Edit: It could be that I'm confusing things and the api you're pointing to just doesn't reply with the new version yet and the Actions run will retry at some point?

Nope its not related to the delay. Its on Flathubs end but its published now :)
