Affected app version
1.5.0
Affected Android/Custom ROM version
Android 15
Affected device model
Samsung Galaxy S24
How did you install the app?
F-Droid / IzzyOnDroid
Steps to reproduce the bug
- Open camera app.
- Set the aspect ratio to the default option (with the arrows).
- Go into the settings and turn off "Save EXIF metadata".
- Take a photo with the front or back camera.
- The result will be sideways and appear as such in the little preview at the bottom corner, the default Samsung Gallery app, Fossify Gallery, Tulsi Gallery, and other apps that can access the photos (these are the apps I've checked).
Expected behavior
To be able to take photo with either camera at any aspect ratio without saving the EXIF metadata and for the resulting image to be in the correct orientation.
Actual behavior
The photos taken in the default aspect ratio, without saving EXIF metadata are rotated 90°, it seems to vary whether the rotation is clockwise or counter-clockwise.
