Broken user flow when logging in to like a report

As a website visitor visiting a report's detail page, I may want to like a report. If I am not logged in, the site redirects me to the login page using a note aside the like button. However, after logging in, I am redirected to the landing page instead of the report detail page I came from.

I would expect to be redirected to the report detail page and the like action being applied automatically.
