Newtonsoft.Json.JsonSerializationException during installation of Firely.Terminal

I am trying to install the firely terminal using a dotnet base sdk [8.0.0] but keep getting -

I have tried multiple versions of the dotnet sdk and the firely terminal but none of them seem to work.

1. Checking the NET SDK Version
Can you tell us which version of the dotnet sdk you are using? You can check it this way:

dotnet --version

Or if you want to know all installed versions:

dotnet --list-sdks

For the latest version of Firely Terminal, you need to have version 8.x for the SDK.

2. Checking the command
If that doesn't work, can you tell us what exact command you used to arrive at this error.
The correct command

dotnet tool install -g firely.terminal 

3. Operating system
All though we support Windows, Linux and Mac, there some times are issues on less common platforms with the dotnet CLI. Can you tell us on which operating system you are running this?
