Triles can be displaced from their trile emplacement. It's something engine allows, yes, but it should be visually displayed in the editor that there's something finnicky going on with a trile. Otherwise, users can get confused very easily. I think some simple "projected hypercube" type of rendering where the visual trile is connected to its trile emplacement should be enough.
