• Workspace is connected to Sage Intacct.

1. Launch Expensify app.
2. Go to workspace settings > Accounting.
3. Tap Import.
4. Tap Classes.
5. Disable Import.
6. Tap on the empty area right below Import.

Expected Result:

The empty area right below Import when disabled should do nothing.

Actual Result:

The empty area right below Import when disabled opens Displayed as page, as if Import is enabled and Displayed as is shown.

When a Sage Intacct Import mapping (e.g., Import → Classes) is disabled, tapping the empty area below the Import toggle can still open the “Displayed as” page. The expected behavior is that nothing happens when Import is disabled.

What is the root cause of that problem?

On native platforms, the accordion section under the Import toggle collapses via animation (height/opacity) but its children are rendered with absolute positioning, so when “collapsed” the content can remain as an invisible overlay that still intercepts taps. That makes taps on the apparent empty area trigger the hidden onPress (“Displayed as”) row.

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

Update the native accordion implementation (src/components/Accordion/index.native.tsx) so that when the accordion is collapsed (and while it’s animating), it cannot receive touches by ensuring the container clips its contents (e.g., enforce overflow: hidden and constrain height/maxHeight during collapse/animation). This prevents the hidden menu item from intercepting taps when Import is disabled.

What is the root cause of that problem?

The Import option is handled by Accordion component. We animate it by changing the height and opacity.

The children has an absolute position style, so when the parent height is 0, the component is still there, but not visible because we set the opacity to 0. That's why we can still press it.

Set the overflow to hidden when the content is hidden.
