It can be pretty annoying to manage mods sometimes and it can be hard to remember what mods need to be loaded.
Mod profiles would be a pretty good solution for consistent game sessions no matter what you're doing.
I would really like to know what is involved in making this happen.

I do think mod profiles should exists so that you can have separate game saves for each one, but if you only want it for mod management then you can create a mod preset, click on managed installed mods, enable all the mods you want, disable the rest, then click on mod presets and choose a name for it. Once it's created you can either click the "replace" button to only enable the mods in the preset or "add" to keep already enabled ones as well as enabling the ones in the preset
