Some pokémon are harder to catch than others, even with the same HP and at the same level, such as the fame legendary pokémon (rare pokémon that are much powerful than regular pokémon, an example is the number 150 pokémon, Mewtwo).

This is due to different pokémon having different catch rate which vary between 0 and 255.

The higher the catch rate of a pokémon, the easier it is to catch it.
