The documentation has been updated for the latest version of Globus (see 4d67a48). @JustinKyleJames is working to make the DSI compatible with iRODS 4.2
Then I will release a new version.
I have a follow-up question. I am working with a customer (I work for DDN) on a iRODS-based data archive. They also want to use GridFTP as part of this. I have been working to install the connector, but I've been having issues.
My question is this customer has a complex iRODS environment, dedicated DB servers (HA), dual iES servers (HA), load balancer, and redundant resource servers. I planned on installing GridFTP on the resource servers, but I really don't understand if the connector is smart enough to forward the packets from the resource server to the iES servers in order for the whole thing to work. Do you have any insight into whether this should work in this kind of an environment??
Has the documentation been updated recently for the newer versions of Globus and iRODS?
