Is this a duplicate of #135? I am not sure what else could "multiple values" mean.

I think it might mean to be able to select more options from a list. E.g. you have more files in a record, some of them are pictures some are text, then you'd like to select both - text and image from a resource type list. ?
If it is so, for what lists do we want this feature?

OK, then it i.e. equivalent to repeating the element and picking a different value, e.g.

type="text", type="image"

Yes, but a multiselect control expressed much clearer the intention of the user. Someting like this: http://davidstutz.github.io/bootstrap-multiselect/
