  1. It would be very cool If I could choose the order of the maps in the homepage.
There are some maps that are more important and required more time and it would be better to have them on top.
And there are maps that 'go together' and it would be nice to put them close by.

  2. This is just a suggestion, designers know better than me,
but I like better the previews/covers of the maps without the red semi-transparent gradient.
It doesn't add much and make all maps look the same.

  1. yes, but after the Brussels event.

  2. yes i agree it was an experiment. if we don't find a better solution we'll keep the original version.

Define a custom order for maps is useful but it would require both a technical and a graphic redesign.
I'd rather focus on simpler tasks for the final release.

I don't see why: maps are ordered now, can't we just tweak the actual ordering system?
e.g. if the maps are ordered alphabetically according to the name of the folder can't we just add 1_ 2_ 3_ ... to the name of the folders?

ok - i confused this issue with another one.
I was thinking about the possibility to create a "featured" status for some maps, and i was commenting that.
Simply change the maps order is not a problem. We can create a list of issues and @tommv can add the order. does it works for you?
