When we do upgrades, the forum is unavailable and a visitor will get an ugly bog-standard NGINX 500 page. We should have a nice 500 page that says something like "we're unavailable for maintenance, please come back in a bit".

(in a perfect world, we would have a load-balancing front-end and serve an old one while the upgrade is underway...)
