I'm downloading individual files and noticed that they're in cram.cip format. I haven't seen this file format before and how is it different from the regular cram? Do I need to merge them after downloading?

Dear @teng-gao
Thank you for submitting this issue. cip is an encrypted file format. Could you please provide the EGAF file id for files this happened and I am happy to investigate.
So I see these cram.cip files listed with the EGAF file IDs in the file manifest (Sample_File.map). The same EGAN ID can have multiple EGAF and therefore cram.cip objects. Will they be automatically decoded into normal CRAM/BAM format once they finish downloading?
