Should (some) chapters get a “Further reading” section, which contains links to other resources relevant to the contents of the chapter?

These sections could be optional/mandatory, and contain:

  • links to articles, papers, blog posts, ...
  • Dyalog workshops or user meeting talks
  • arbitrary pages on the internet
  • references to other books/printed materials

This thought was motivated by the fact that I wanted to link to @rikedyp's webinar on Boolean scans when talking about them in the book, but there are plenty of other resources I could have linked already.

I think it would be a good idea.

The name of these sections is up for discussion, obviously.
Some ideas:

  • Further reading/learning/resources
  • More reading/learning/resources
  • Complementary materials
  • Deep dive
  • Deepen your understanding
  • ...
