Add option in de webgui to manually turn on/off the LED strip during maintenance and/or replacing parts where the printer is off.
Current firmware turns off the led when the printer is turned off.

I second this. But I would also suggest to add a button for easy access. Which GPIO would be best for that?
For the LEDs there are GPIO 18, 19, 21, 22, 23 already in use.

I suppose an override toggle in the web UI would be fairly easy to implement.

A physical button would involve more effort though

The developer is deaf to these kinds of requests.

Some work on the code was recently completed by a community member
Check the latest BLLC_19.3.24.bin version from official site https://www.dutchdevelop.com/bl-led-controller/

'Maintenance Mode' that allows you to turn on the LED's regardless of printer state added recently
