[BUG] latest version fails to launch on Ubuntu

Describe the bug
Fails to launch, no log files generated

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Be on Ubuntu 24.04
2. install latest .deb package via terminal
3. launch installer
4. observe lack of installer running
5. attempt to run via terminal, recieve error below

Expected behavior
Installer launching as intended

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: Ubuntu 24.04

Additional context
installed as update to installer version 0.2 overwrite

Log File
no log file, error message when trying to run via terminal:
