WeeWX 5.0.2

weectl device --info
Using configuration file /etc/weewx/weewx.conf
Using driver user.WLLDriver.
Cannot load configurator for WLLDriver.

sudo weectl device --history=30
Using configuration file /etc/weewx/weewx.conf
Using driver user.WLLDriver.
Cannot load configurator for WLLDriver.

Is this a bug in driver or a mistake made by me when installing?

WLLDriver was installed using:
sudo weectl extension WLLDriver.zip

Verified to be installed:
weectl extension list
Using configuration file /etc/weewx/weewx.conf
Extension Name Version Description
WLLDriver 0.4 Request data to WLL and lost data from Weatherlink.com

This service converts the unit system coming from the hardware to a unit

system in the database.

[StdConvert]

# The target_unit affects only the unit system in the database. Once
# chosen it cannot be changed without converting the entire database.
# Modification of target_unit after starting weewx will result in
# corrupt data - the database will contain a mix of US and METRIC data.
#
# The value of target_unit does not affect the unit system for
# reporting - reports can display US, Metric, or any combination of units.
#
# In most cases, target_unit should be left as the default: US

# In particular, those migrating from a standard wview installation

Ok. Can you turn debug to all and give output of /var/log/syslog if you're in Linux system or found the log file where is located based your distribution.
