It seems that certain aspects of the game do not use delta timing, and as such are sped up when 60fps is enabled. There are many decorative objects and animations that exhibit this behavior, but it is not limited to decorations. In my limited use of this engine so far, i have noticed that boss fights may become more difficult due to their interactions being sped up. Petey piranha for example becomes much more difficult, since the window for filling his stomach with fludd becomes halved.
