F-Droid does the same, they too hold their own keys for non-reproducible apps. It could let Google/F-Droid tamper but it is unlikely. |

Sir,
after inclusion of Water fox in your recommended list of browser, I tried to take a look on it.
As the only release channel of WF is play store, got WF from there.
Scanning with 'App Manager' revealed that it has Play store signing. That is also true in case of Brave (when from play store only).
My quarry is, is this acceptable or concerning with a privacy view point.
