About webrender

Yesterday I attended the talk about dioxus at rustnl in Amsterdam (Great tal btw, realy enjoyed it!) and there were a lot of questions about using servo's webrender instead of making a webbrowser yourself which was described as "well.. Hard",

I also read in your FAQ that you are interested in using webrender but the discussion point yesterday was if webrender would be usable without having to use spidermonkey (the javascript engine).

I was interested in getting started today with using webrender but is seems somebody already beat me to it, namely the "Azul" project https://azul.rs/ . which uses webrender, apparently without mozjs (spidermonkey).

So the question is once again.. is building your own browser really worth it? or are there other implications to to using webrender?
