What's the correct project/software name?

I find the naming of the project, website and logo confusing. I see "Dependency-Track", "Dependency Track", "DependencyTrack" and "dependency track" being used. So what is the preferred name of the project and of the software produced by the project?

This might seem unimportant, but I generally like to use correct names and abbreviations when referring to people or projects.

Good call out. The official name of the project is "OWASP Dependency-Track".

This name aligns to the syntax of its sister project, "OWASP Dependency-Check".

We have historically abbreviated the project as DT, whereas Dependency-Check has typically abbreviated the project as ODC.
