I noticed most definitions are for the latest version of each library, is it planned in the future to support multiple / older versions? although most libraries have backward compatibility, it can be hard to work with the latest tsd for jQuery were the real one is a few versions earlier.
Perhaps its too soon to ask, but as this will get traction, it will end up as a must have feature. Is it planned?

I'm closing this issue as I just pushed the first re-release of TSD 0.5.x to npm.

TSD 0.5.x feeds directly from DefinitelyTyped (over Github API):

It has basic support for installing different versions (using --version parameter), but currently it only works as far as the repository provides this information (the node definitions do this).

TSD is now also member of DefinitelyTyped and we are working on using this for more libraries (as it is a recurring problem). It is related to DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped#1556
