dogwrap and dogshell cli tools validate api_host and region arguments from a list of regions. today they only accept us, eu, us3, and us5. its not possible to specify us-fed1 or ap1 via the --site or --api_host arguments. It does appear to work though if you set api_host in dogrc though.
Describe the solution you'd like
It should be possible to specific AP1 or US-FED1 as targets for event/metric submission when using dogshell and dogwrap.
Describe alternatives you've considered
It does appear to work though if you set api_host in dogrc though.
