Description

dash.js supports Common Media Client Data version 1. CTA-WAVE is currently working on version 2 of the specification. A detailed overview of the new features can be found in the presentation by @wilaw : CMCDv2-for-dash.pdf

Note:: the specification is still under development and any of the described fields, keys, features and behaviors might change before publication.

This issue collects all relevant discussions and planning about the implementation of CMCD v2. We can create dedicated issues for the individual features.
