Support for MWR-ZS00

Hi

Great project!!!

I have a Samsung Ducted AC unit with the MWR-ZS00 8 Zone controller. I have it running in HAS via the Samsung cloud but get no zone control and the cloud side of it lags from time to time

Looking for local control that can also give me zone control, currently the MWR-ZS00 has a touch screen panel on the wall that i can touch on which zone i want, this looks to use RS485 signal between the controller and touch panel to send that signal back to the MWR-ZS00 in the ceiling space and in turn open or close the zone (driven from the MWR-ZS00 via 240v outputs on each zone)

Will this project work with the above? Is it possible to determine the zone control commands so that i can bring this into HAS

For your system I'm not sure if this project will help you. First, the wires going to your touchscreen are not labelled as F1, F2, F3 or F4. On your first picture and from the manual in the link I conclude that there is a F3 and F4 connection going somewhere. I think that these are the wires you should connect to.
Then second, there seems to be an updated protocol called 'NASA' on newer samsung devices (see #3 (comment)). Not sure which category yours is falling into. But nevertheless, peeking onto the wires is something you can always do and if the protocol seems the same, then you can maybe use this project.

Hi, Thanks for your reply and appreciate your help! My unit is of pre 2015 era, i am not sure if when they switched to the NASA protocol but believe mine is on the older protocol still. On the main indoor unit i have these terminals  on the zone controller i have these which F3 and F4 run to the main indoor unit and RT to the wall panel https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/39994663/157012561-eec19170-fd1c-483b-9adb-cf4cf847de46.png How do i get started?

Hi, Just a quick update here, Samsung has now announced EOL for the app, means it will render my system not usable :( unless i can get some local control, is there anyone on here that would be willing to help, happy to even pay to get this thing going again
