Kinetic rate constants are related to stochastic rate constants via the volume of the system, the order of the reaction, and any multiplicities. It would be ideal to just use stochastic rate constants, but this isn't feasible for systems that change size (kinetic rate constants are intrinsic properties while stochastic rate constants are not). It would be helpful to have a utility for transforming kinetic rate constants to the correct, equivalent stochastic rate constants.
