Sorting Options

I found no options for sorting. Is this right?
Big deal if it would be possible to sort from new to old or reverse ...
(And: Sorting a - z, z - a in title, author, dog of the author, ... ;-) just a joke)

Hi Cliff,

maybe, someone wishes to sort the listet documents in a category from 'a

• z' or 'z - a' (or by date) in the FE ...
  because of finding a younger or older document faster - maybe this a
  "gimmick"

But, I found no option to set the sorting-direction in the BE (for all
users in the FE).
I name (a lot of) documents like 2014_09_08_Protokoll_xyz
Would be nice to setup the listing-direction from newest to older
...Protokolle... (for example).

Yep, i understand.

Currently all documents are sorted by name and version (ascending) ... see: https://github.com/ContaoDMS/dms/blob/master/system/modules/DocumentManagementSystem/DmsLoader.php#L302

What we need:

• Config select for sorting options in DCA for listing module
• transfer selected option through DmsLaoderParames
• build alternative "order by" clause in DmsLoader->getDocuments
