Where can I find the data for the entire cloud field instead of an isolated stratocumulus water cloud out of the entire cloud field? |

The stratocumulus cloud field in data/synthetic_cloud_fields/shdom/ was distributed with the original SHDOM code. It is a snapshot of the full domain of a simulation. Stratocumulus cloud field simulations tend to be run with relatively small domains (a few km in the horizontal) and periodic horizontal boundary conditions as they are computationally expensive. If you want a large enough domain cloud field to simulate for a wide field of view camera without repeated features, you would probably need to acquire a custom made simulation. |
