Software Design Issue 📜

Purpose

We want to prototype the pipeline necessary to for using EKP to calibrate the coupled system. We will be using ClimaCoupler.jl and calibrate parameters in SurfaceFluxes.jl, with the pipeline triggered using CalibrateAtmos.jl. This focuses on the AMIP setup only. The CMIP calibration will be applied in ClimaEarth.jl.

    1. ClimaCoupler example of the bash script pipeline with EKP.jl (similar to Mansfield paper)
    1. Apply the CES pipeline to EKP of Atmos and Land (and possibly slab ocean) (see sea-breeze example), reconcile parameter passing
    1. plan for expansion for CES and CMIP
